Yes! Unlike standard tow trucks, our heavy-duty tilt trays can carry loaded 10ft and 20ft shipping containers up to our legal slide-bed payload rating of approximately 5 tonnes total gross weight. Cargo inside must be evenly distributed and securely braced so it does not shift backward during hydraulic loading.
To drop off a 20ft container (approx 6.05m long), we require approximately 20 metres of straight, flat forward drive space plus 4.8 metres of vertical clearance. The truck reverses into position, tilts the bed to slide the container’s rear edge to the ground, and pulls forward out from underneath.
